Apparently when in Australia at the last HL convention, David A. himself was not sure of that. He thought it might be a straight to DVD movie but at that time the funding and distribution deals were not complete so he didn't know. I don't think we know at this point. It is not only Sci Fi . com that is reporting this now, it is on the official HL website and many of us who are on their mailing list received an email this morning from DPP confirming all of this. It will be three movies with one theme, the Source is the name of the first movie and AP for sure is in it. PW's fan club has said he is in negotiations for a contract. They sort of *had* to re-use the name "The Source" however, because of all that merchandise they've already sold with that name on it. Sigh. The only good that could come out of an origins film in my opinion is if it leads Duncan and Methos to "discover" that someone originally got it all screwed up and they don't have to continue to lop off heads. Yeah like that's going to happen. Sigh. Filming in Lithuania? Sigh. And mostly I'm worried by every word that has come out of the director's mouth. Who cares about his techno "vision" ? We [most of us] don't want special effects that are leading edge, we want a story, angst, romance, courage, nobility. Oh, I forgot, this is one of the movies, not the t.v. show. Sigh. The best reason for me to be happy about these movies is that I'll have another reason, and I'll take *any* reason to see Adrian Paul act, move, breathe, smile, cry, etc. [but they better film these three all at once like LotR or else if it takes 5 years in between movies we're talking a 60 year old Duncan.Unless of course they kill him off.
