I think TPTB who make these kinds of boneheaded decisions really don't get the fans: many of us loved both shows and watched both of them eagerly. I started watching FK after people said how similar the format was to HL, and of course I love vampires, so I tried it (had to get tapes from the States as it was never shown here - so I really made a commitment of time and money!) and LOVED it. I have both the HL and FK DVDs. And I still adore GWD and Uncle. :) - Marina. "All plants move. The information comes direct from Carmel Macpherson and has been confirmed by David Abramowitz and Adrian Paul.<< Oh! I've been at a convention all weekend, and we talked about Bill and Highlander a lot. I only said on Sunday to someone Bill Panzer is Highlander. His enthusiasm and drive have kept Highlander alive he inspired all of us to keep going, even though we have criticised we still love Highlander. I will always picture Bill in a yellow jumper with a huge smile on his face and of course a glass of finest malt in hand. Highlander has given me so much, so many friends, so many moments of joy. I am very sad at the news, but so happy that I had the privilege of meeting this man and being allowed to be involved in Highlander. So please let me raise a glass of the finest malt and say thank you, you will be missed. Elaine.
