I can tell you that (a) this and the Highlander fanfic mailing lists are the only two mailing lists I have ever subscribed to. I have never written nor read any fanfiction except for Highlander. I have never gone out of my way to find and purchase every single season of any other series (usually I'll wait until reruns, borrow them, or rent them at the video store...although Carnavale came ever so close to being added to my collection). I have never joined a fan club except for (briefly) the PWFC during its early years. I have never longed to go to a television-series convention except for Highlander (and one of these days, if they go on long enough, I might be able to cobble together enough money to go). I have never "followed" celebrities' work nor visited their websites except for some of the cast of Highlander. (Okay, Kevin Smith, but he does movies). So, 10 things I enjoy about Highlander...without being a "me-too" post...in no particular order: 1) Methos was pure, wretched evil at one time. Bwa ha ha ha haaaaa!!! 2) Styrofoam peanuts helped Richie in his first kill. 3) Lisa Howard is from my hometown, and we have a mutual friend in common to boot. 4) Rowdy Roddy Piper! w00t! Though I would have liked to hear him say, "I'm here to kick *ss and chew bubblegum...and I'm all out of bubblegum." 5) Kenny got away twice! Again, cue the maniacal, evil laughter. 6) Disco 70's hair for Duncan. 7) Roger Daltrey, Man of Many Talents. 8) Richie no more! Woo...uh, I mean...*sniff*... 9) Six. Whole (well, mostly). Seasons. 10) Eurominutes! ....Greg.... gmate@rogers.com "What's the matter with the word 'juggernaut?'
