I just noticed something odd about one of the commentaries on the Season 5 DVD set and am wondering if many are like that from this and other season sets. Are the audio and video commentaries on most of them different? I was watching The Valkyrie with just the audio commentary on. During the usual Highlander opening sequence Adrian mentioned something about one of the shots in it and the sword move. I switched to the video commentary since it sounded like he was maybe showing something about the move. But that and some of the other things in the audio commentary weren't part of the video one. I had thought the difference between the all the audio vs video commentaries were just that for the video ones you got to see the person making the comments and they didn't show the scenes were no comments were made. So now I'm curious if most or even some of the others have comments only on the audio version. =}{= (heidi@bronze.lcs.mit.edu) ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 14 Aug 2004 12:11:56 -0500 From: Ann Ford <aford@austin.rr.com> Subject: Re: DVD commentaries? It seems that the audio commentaries are the full episode and the video commentaries are edited to be only 20 mins or so. So, if you want to hear and see everything you have to watch both. That, combined with RL, is why I'm pitifully behind everyone else - I'm still working my way slowly through Season 3.
