I drove to Kalamazoo from Detroit -- with about 9 other fans -- to see the horrid DMCD. It was fun. A fun way to spend a Saturday. I saw Endgame 3 times in the theater, and then two or three other versions at home. What can I say? AP watching is just plain fun. :-) -- Sandy For the moisturizing benefits of handcrafted soaps, *whipped* shea butter, and soothing Lip Smoothies, visit: http://sksoaps.home.comcast.net ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 11 Jan 2004 22:09:52 -0500 From: kageorge <kageorge@erols.com> Subject: Re: Season Two DVD set commentary: An Eye for an Eye Thank you! I wasn't sure whether anyone was actually reading them. I found that watching the episodes after a long hiatus, including the commentary and outtakes, gave me new insights and perspectives. The same is proving true of the 3rd season dvds, which are a big step up from the 2nd season in terms of the quality and variety of the commentary. I recently watched "Shadows", with full audio commentary by the director, and he pointed out things they had done with the shot movements and background and lighting and setup that really enriched the experience of watching it again. I agree on the big step up on the commentary. I've been enjoying season three very much, although I'm taking my time in watching them, so when I finish, season four might be available. I never purchased the tapes (when tv is free?), so I've been having fun looking for the Eurominutes. Keep commenting, I'm listening! lynnann In a message dated 1/11/04 8:16:05 PM Mountain Standard Time, kageorge@erols.com writes: > Thank you! I wasn't sure whether anyone was actually reading them. I was living in Durham, NC, at the time, and drove out to the coast, near VA, to see DMCD with a list friend. I spent the weekend visiting, and it was a lot of fun. We rented a vcr and rented the movie. Well all I can say is I never enjoyed a movie so much OK before you all jump on me or think I am nuts. (No wisecrakes from peanut galley) One of my friends has a husband in army. It was like having our oun critic. She was jumping and saying You can't do that you can't do this. This is not true she had us rolling on the floor. I still remember her yelling at the TV. "Ohh wow you can't do that" "That can never happen." I could never watch that movier again with out thinking about that night. I wished I taped her commentary of that night.
