I'm always happy to hear about coverage of my favorite shows in magazines, be it Highlander or Stargate or even Blakes 7 (going way back now). I sometimes buy Buffy or Angel articles, too, although usually only if it's James Marsters. And nowadays with little coverage of Highlander to look out for, of course, as a fan of the show, I want a "head's up." What kind of *fan* of the show wouldn't? Much like we won't be seeing AP in the mini-series. Unless you count stock footage like they used in Raven, which I certainly do not. >>> You will read about Adrian in the article. The cover image (of Adrian with a sword) and associated text is there to advertise the article. Yes I can see how Nina might fail to see the connection between a picture of Duncan MacLeod and a feature in which he is mentioned, discussed and there's a competition to win his sword.>>> So, the coverage is _really_ just another boring HL franchise history piece, w/ stuff we've all read before? If so, then I stand corrected & that tired old AP photo is totally appropriate for the cover. But, interestingly, that's not at all how you 1st promoted the article here back on 12-17. Then you said (in full)-- >>>Impact 146 (out in January) has a world exclusive... ...a special interview and feature about filming on the NEW Highlander TV for 2004.>>> If THAT very different account is accurate & AP is neither set to be in the mini-series nor interviewed in the mag, then the chosen cover shot is, at best, misleading. > Should the *majority* of people on this List feel that I shouldn't alert it > to when Impact or Dreamwatch are next breaking Highlander news (or how to > subsequently get hold of such issues) I'm quite happy to never mention it > again. Like anyone, you are, I believe, free to post on topic info. And the rest of us are free to comment on it.
