I've added a lot of Highlander fan fiction to the Fan Fiction Archive today. Twelve sets of backlogged Mid-Week Challenges and an updated MWC, as well. If you haven't sampled the Mid-Week Challenges before, give them a try. Each set is unique and you never know until you open it up and peruse the table of contents how many stories or poems are inside. I wish I could give you a total story count, but I didn't tally them as I went! You can find all of the MWCs at our regular Fan Fiction Archive site: http://members.aol.com/pelkiepet/stories.htm I have more to add, but my hands have given out for now. I was really really really behind on archiving them this last year. Does anyone have a working phone number for the official HL store customer service? I just looked at 3 of the new season 1 dvd's, and all 3 are defective. Will have to return the entire set. The phone number on the official website does not seem to work.......just a busy signal. Thanks :) Claire Li ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 6 Jan 2002 18:41:10 EST From: Donna Sorenson <DonnaS4@aol.com> Subject: Re: Customer Service Phone # for defective dvd's? I'm sure they'll post again. Donna ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 6 Jan 2002 20:48:24 EST From: Dawn Lehman <USTADAWN@aol.com> Subject: Re: Customer Service Phone # for defective dvd's? Donna - I posted the other number (the non toll free one) but that is a waste of time too. I have called it 3 times and left messages with an actual human 3 times and have NEVER received a call back or an answer to my merchandise questions. I'm still waiting on an order placed in August 2001. Everytime I call, the person I need to speak to is not there and they always ask me to leave my name and number for them to get back with me. They NEVER do! Here's the number, anyway: 1/310/659-3364 the person to speak to is Ms. JoAnne Bartley Sounds like we are all being had these days, as far as Highlander Merchandise is concerned (which is a real shame!!!!) ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 6 Jan 2002 20:20:20 -0600 From: MacWestie <res0ror6@verizon.net> Subject: Re: Customer Service Phone # for defective dvd's? This sort of thing (& worse) has been going on w/ the various incarnations of DPP's HL Store for several years. It used to be the videos were defective, so now I guess it'll be crappy DVDs. And the customer service has ALWAYS been a bad joke.
