If the money was there for a really *good* movie, and he had a certain amount of creative control, I think AP would come around. But he hasn't got very many years left to be believable as an Immortal; I think the best thing he could do is put in one more appearance as DMotCM to hand the reins over to a new Immortal, and then ride off into the sunset. -------------------- Trilby "Her life was okay. If they film a good movie, what's to keep them from cutting it to shreds again? In any casse, there's no money there for a really good movie. So they just need to stop... I realised how much I missed Duncan at that point and stuck in a few tapes. I fell in love with Highlander all over again. Darius was so wonderful. Grayson was an amazing villan. That first meeting with Methos, Tessa's death, Fitz always causing trouble.....ah it just goes on and on...<G> Elaine. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 7 Sep 2001 08:50:19 -0400 From: Elaine Nicol <ElaineN@compuserve.com> Subject: Re: HL5 Rumour >> The Movie Hole Web site reported a rumor that Dimension Films is readying a fifth installment in the Highlander movie series, to star Highlander television series lead Adrian Paul. << It might be nice and I seem to rememeber being told that there was an option for a 5th one, but after what happened with Endgame I don't see it happening......of course we said that after Highlander 2 as well. Personally, I liked the producer's cut of Endgame, but not so much the theatrical version. Therefore, if the producers can get better writers and if the execs stay the hell out of it for once, HL5 may be pretty good. I'm also okay with the rumour that Mulcahy may be coming back. As long as he sticks with the PRESENT then he'll do just fine. I've always wanted to see him return to Highlander, and this will do nicely.
