Okay, here's a topic for discussion that might help to liven things up a = bit. I'm going to Reunion in August. Although I've been to a general sc= i-fi con before, this will be my very first HL con. Needless to say, I'm= more than a bit excited. So all you con veterans out there, tell us con= newbies what is your best HL con memory and/or what should I not miss at= Reunion. =20 If this has been done before, please just humor me. I don't have anyone = close by to share in my Reunion anticipation!! My husband has pretty muc= h reached his limit for humoring me and my friends all just think I'm cra= zy. Okay, I am crazy, but its in a good way. Toni (hoping her best Reunion memory will be getting caught alone in an e= levator with PW during a blackout!! <VEG>) =20 ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 23 Jun 2001 18:18:21 +0100 From: Jette Goldie <jette@blueyonder.co.uk> Subject: Re: Topic for discussion, was I'm new Toni wrote: >Okay, here's a topic for discussion that might help to liven >things up a bit. If Donna and Gillian get a chance to do a "Writers' Room" then don't miss it. Anthony De Longis and F Braun together with swords - that's pretty unmissable. Oh and JB in concert - even if it is a solo accoustic gig - NOT to be missed. (and me in the bar on Friday - that's not to be missed either, cos it's my birthday <g>) Jette Glory may be fleeting, but obscurity is forever! bosslady@scotlandmail.com http://www.jette.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/fanfic.html ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 23 Jun 2001 10:57:37 -0700 From: Lynn <lloschin@sprynet.com> Subject: Re: Topic for discussion, was I'm new From: "Antoinette Stewart" <toni822@MSN.COM> >Toni (hoping her best Reunion memory will be getting caught alone in an elevator with PW >during a blackout!! <VEG>) I know this was tongue in cheek, but anyone concerned should know that L.A. proper (the city of L.A., which is where the convention hotel is located) is on municipal power and not subject to rolling blackouts... which are unlikely on weekends anyway. (Not even commenting on the astronomical odds against one of the actors being alone in a public part of the convention hotel...) She learned this martial art from the world's foremost expert on the weapon. Just getting lessons from EG would probably be a unique experience. I've learned that Tracy Scoggins will probably only be on a panel with other HL guest stars, which is a bit disappointing, but since she's a lifelong dedicated SF fan herself, I wouldn't miss the opportunity to get her perspective on the show.
