Matters of Honor and Justice 0/3

Disclaimers: None of this stuff belongs to me. The characters should, since
they've been running around in my brain for 5 years. I'm not making a dime off
of this, so if you want to send me money, make sure it's for something else.
While I could probably lay claim to one character in this story, if anyone else
would care to use him, feel free.

Thanks to all my beta readers (you know who you are), especially to Toni Holm,
who kept me from making quite a few really stupid spelling errors... :)

Preface: I started this story in April, 1996, after becoming interested in
Highlander fan fiction. As I wasn't a big fan of the show at the time, a lot
of my backstory for the characters comes from other people's fan fiction.
Because of this, this story is two levels removed from canon, and so a lot of
my metaphysical musings may be considered way off base. I liked writing it,
      though, so it stays.

I tried to research the Native American portions of the story to the best of my
ability. Hopefully I didn't foster any stereotypes or offend anyone. If there
is anything that I could represent more correctly, please feel free to let me
      know.

The story sat on my hard drive for the past few years, waiting for an ending.
The other night, a decent ending hit me, and I decided to finish the darn thing
      up.

I'll be posting the story online at
