From: Ginny Gibbs <red57metoo@yahoo.com> the pilot featured Christopher Heyerdahl, who played a street guy and madman nicknamed "John the Baptist," who is lured into the He was also in an episode of The Dead Zone last week. I only saw part of it but he seemed to be the bad guy (with his hair in braided pigtails). This makes a big change from playing "Halling," the very humorless leader of the Athosian contingent on the main continent on the Atlantis planet. Is his character or any of the others from that bunch still around? I haven't watched the show for quite awhile but hadn't seen them for awhile before that. So I didn't know if they gave up on them or they just don't turn up very often. He also did a third season episode of Andromeda which I think may have been the first thing I had seen him in. Out of curiosity I checked the imdb listing and it says he was in HL3. His character is just listed as `ponytail' so I expect he was a minor character. Does anyone remember who he was in it? =}{= (heidi@bronze.lcs.mit.edu) ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 11 Jul 2006 11:49:45 +0100 From: John Mosby - Laptop <a.j.mosby@btinternet.com> Subject: Highlander Comic Q&A While we wait for concrete news about the film, I thought this might be of interest... Highlander WorldWide is proud to announce that we will be running a special Q&A feature with Brandon Jerwa, co-writer on the official Highlander comic, on the HLWW site. Brandon, who will be joining us in Vancouver for HLWW8: Homeward in October 2007, has agreed to take some time off from writing the new adventures of Connor MacLeod (and maybe Duncan at some point!) to answer a range of e-mail questions from Highlander fandom (and beyond). The questions and answers will be appearing on the HLWW site at the end of the month, to co-incide with the launch of Highlander #0 from Dynamite Entertainment. Go to http://www.highlanderworldwide.com/news/index.shtml to see how you can submit your questions over the coming week... ------------------------------ End of HIGHLA-L Digest - 10 Jul 2006 to 11 Jul 2006 (#2006-109) ***************************************************************
