      Eurominutes - Brothers in Arms

      1) Micro cut:

      Flashback to Vietnam

US: Opens with a nurse reading a magazine at Joe's bedside. He stirs and
      she calls for the doctor.

Euro: Opens in the field hospital tent. Two soldiers come in carrying a
stretcher. There are other men on stretchers, doctors and nurses move
about doing their jobs. Dr. Weldon looks at the new arrival and orders
an IV. He moves off and goes past a nurse reading a magazine at Joe's
bedside. Resume as in US version

      2) Micro cut

      Still in Vietnam

US: Opens on fan blades going around and then through the fan to Joe
lying on his side holding, caressing, his pistol. Ian Bancroft arrives.

Euro: Open on the fan and go through the fan to Joe lying on his side
in bed. <loud sound of helicopter overhead throughout>. He has one hand
under his pillow. Slowly, he pulls his hand from beneath the pillow
revealing his pistol. He looks at it. Caresses it. Ian arrives. Resume
      as in US.

      3) Second visit to Cord's paintball arena - after Charlie agrees to
leave Cord alone for the day

US: Opens on Cord stalking through the area. He shoots two players. He
rips off his eye shield and tosses it aside, yelling "Damn it!" as he
comes up to Joe, who is standing on the sidelines.

Euro: Opens on Cord stalking through the area. He shoots two players. He
is agitated but fires deliberately. He looks around for more targets.
      Can't see any.

      Cord: <yelling> Come on!

We see Joe arrive on the sidelines.

Two more paintball players walk into the scene, on the look-out for
Cord. Cord sneaks up behind them and shoots one in the back. The second
guy turns with his hands up.

Guy: OK, You got me. I give up.

Close up on Cord's eyes behind the shield. Cord shoots the guy twice in
      the chest at close range.

Guy: Hey! I said I give up!
Cord: Sorry. Must have been the wind

Cord shoots him again multiple times as the guy says "What's your
      problem?"

      Cord: Damn it!

      Resume as in US.

      4) After Duncan and Cord fight at the Dojo.

US: Cuts to Joe behind the bar pouring drinks for Charlie and himself.

Joe: You make a lot of friends over there, Charlie? ......

Euro: Cut to Joe at the bar - looks like he is paying bills. He is
putting things in envelopes. He hears the door open and looks to see
Charlie come in. Charlie approaches somewhat tentatively.

J: Uh..it's ...uh.. it's just you and me, Charlie.
      C: Okay.

      Charlie comes closer.

J: Uh, thanks for coming down. Can I buy you a drink?

Joe reaches for two glasses and a bottle.

      C. No.

      Joe puts the bottle down.

C: I always thought you were a stand up guy, Joe. Now MacLeod tells me
you and Cord got history. What's that about?

      J: He's my friend.
C: Then we got nothin' to talk about.
J: No no no. We got a lot to talk about.

      Joe pours two drinks.

J: You make a lot of friends over there, Charlie? ......
      Resume as in US version.

      5) The Charlie Death Montage, after Charlie expires in Duncan' arms...

US: Cut to Duncan charging into the bar asking where Cord is.

Euro: Fade to white and begin the montage
       a) The first meeting of Charlie, Duncan and Richie when they come to
      join the dojo.
       b) The first sparing match between Duncan and Charlie as Duncan
      "applies" for membership
       c) Duncan and Charlie in the dojo (From "The Zone" tag);
                  D: You're pushing your luck.
C: Maybe, but one day I'm going to find out what you are
      all
                       about.
         d) Duncan getting shot in Unholy Alliance
         e) Charlie in the hospital in Unholy Alliance. Charlie wants to know
      what's
up before he dies and Duncan tells him he isn't going to die.
          f) In the Dojo ("The Zone" again)
C: You walk pretty close to the edge, MacLeod. What are you
      hiding?
D: You don't want to know, Charlie. Some of the people who
                        found out aren't round anymore.
          g) Charlie heading out to the Balkans at the end of "The
      Revolutionary"
                 D: Be safe. <infamous peace sign>
                 C: You know it.
Charlie turns and walks away. Screen goes white and we resume
      as in US version.

      *************************************************
The best thing about this episode, IMGLO, is the end... Duncan declaring
"I am an Immortal" with a finality that should have marked the end of
the "Joe and Duncan" show. Sadly, TPTB couldn't resist keeping the
Watchers a part of the series and Joe and Duncan continued their will
they/won't they dance until the end.

Wendy( If rumors of the Watchers' demise in "The Source" are true, I
can't say I'll be unhappy)(Never much cared for the whole concept.)
