This is the classic good news/ bad news. DA and AP know and love HL and should be the best team to produce a great HL movie. OTOH, if the movie sucks, there will be no one to blame except them. We can also blame the studio, the director, D&P, etc. Steve __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! As for the star part, I'm sorry to see that he has no better prospects & is willing to go backward, professionally. His career might finally prosper if he could just distance himself from Highlander. He has the skills, the looks, & the work ethic to be so much more than another low-rent action guy. The Bond thing is just silly, but one good, mainstream role is all he needs to be a respected actor & a contender for the big roles. Duncan MacLeod will never do the job for him. Regarding his being an EP--that's so often a meaningless title. Back w/ Endgame, we were assured AP had not only script approval (yeah, right) but also control over several other key aspects. Didn't work out that way. Those blasted "suits," you know. As for Abramowitz, no matter how much the final script may parallel in excellence his work in the series, there are still the hurdles of changes made during filming AND in butcher-shop editing. Gillian Horvath wrote the story for Endgame, after all. Didn't help. I believe Jim B. & Peter W. are set to reprise Joe & Methos also. Maybe having Methos in a larger part will help out the new film/story. I'm not sure if this is still at the 'rumor' stage or not as I'm way behind on my listmail & all computer stuff. :-\ Possibly someone else can confirm this...
