What took them so long to figure out it was a fire hazard? When I was checking in at the front desk for G3, along with Kris from Wisconsin, we heard all these sirens and then fire trucks pulled up out in front of the hotel and fiiremen came running in past the desk with all their gear. Part of the hotel was on fire and the hotel wasn't even evacuated. We wondered if it was safe to be having G3 there. It certainly has made for interesting con stories though. Ginny wrote: >Today? It good to be back and see posts from the people I met at the 4 cons I went to. I married a native from Seacouver while I was gone. Have been on the Highlander tour of BC a couple of times. Recently I took the Smallville tour of BC. The GII was held at the Holiday Inn DIA, that is the hotel with the long corridor that you are remembering.
