Subject: Those whacky HL Store salesmen
I'm just sitting minding my own business and I get one of those calls.
You know the ones.
The ones that start "Hi ______, I understand that you're a Highlander fan"
This time they were offering me a chance to buy all 6 seasons of HL on DVD for some ridiculous price ($600?) . They wanted me to know that each season included all 22 episodes.
Um...did someone film some extra episodes while I wasn't paying attention?
They moved "Double Jeopardy" and "OMTM" back into Season 4, which leaves only 18 for Season 5...and, of course, thirteen for Season 6.
I tried to explain that to the idiot on the phone but he assured me that each season had 22 episodes. ::snort::: I guess if you want extra HL episodes, you need to pay top dollar for them and order from the HL Store.
Wendy(Let's see...if you add DJ and OMTM plus Avatar and Armageddon into Season 5, that's 22.)(Then For Season 6, add in everything in Season 5 from Comes A Horseman onward)(22 per season!)

And, if you answer that w/ "Not after Endgame, which made me want do
unspeakable things to the folks in charge. AND had crappy editing." they
just laugh oddly & keep going in their lie-infested speech. The best thing
to do is squeal excitedly over their offer & ask them to wait while you get
your credit card/s. And then leave the house for several hours while they
remain hopeful & on hold.

A bargain! Because HL Store's stellar customer service department is
_worth_ paying double for, & so what if you don't get the cool Best Buy
extra footage?
