Well, to be honest, I'm doing two things...
1) I'm saying that there's a new Highlander TV project set to film in the
spring. A fact that I think is worth mentioning here, given that it's a
Highlander list. I'm explaining where and when the facts of that show are to
be made public. Should that not be enough, I'm sure we can find some fanfic
discussions to get your juices flowing.
2) Yes. I'm touting Impact. Most magazines don't bother much with HL
anymore, after all it's a series that has been off the air for years.
Impact, a magazine most HL fans are familiar with, supported the show and
continues to cover it when there's a reason. To continue to do so, I need
people to buy the magazines when we do run HL pieces. If we cover it and
nobody reads it, the publisher rightly concludes the space could be better
used with some other genre piece. Ergo : no coverage. If I reveal all the
juicy details here on this List, why should anyone buy the magazine?
So, yes. I'm advertising. No-one's forcing you to buy the magazine, but I
am performing the service of saying it's out there.
