I'm a bit confused. The tape I have that has the scenes that
aren't on the DVD is from a broadcast from the US Scifi channel.
So are you saying the Scifi Channel reruns were not the US version?
With TNN/Spike airing different cuts of HL I guess it wouldn't
be a big suprise if Scifi aired different versions of FK.

The first season of FK was filmed for Canadian tv, at a length of around 47
minutes ea; the episodes were cut to around 44 minutes for American tv. The
other two seasons were (as far as I know) filmed at 44 or so minutes in
length. I'm not sure which version aired on SciFi, but I suspect they've
played with the edits for airing on Scifi.

Yep. The whole banter about the suit was cut. They also cut where Nick and
the other officer are talking and Nick says something about Schanke already
being there. The officer asks how he knows, and Nick says "I can smell his cologne
from here"
