A "biker" in the UK is more likely to wear rip-stop nylon waterproof oversuit and warm thermals underneath. He's also probably about 17/18 and can't afford a car license yet, or in his 50s and "trying to do his bit for the environment" by using a motorbike instead of a gas-guzzling car. :-) (nothing homo-erotic or "bad-ass" about British bikers) Jette (ex-British-biker babe) "Work for Peace and remain Fiercely Loving" - Jim Byrnes jette@blueyonder.co.uk http://www.jette.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/ ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 30 Aug 2003 13:50:59 +0100 From: Jette Goldie <jette@blueyonder.co.uk> Subject: Re: Ru Paul [Was Re: Poll: Ritchie: Immie wannabe & childish, or whiney voiced punk] Sandy says: > 1) Richie was annoying sometimes, just like most people his age. Glad you had a good time! Peggie ;-P Did a lot of driving, ate some very good food, met some lovely Irish men, discovered that Irish drivers come in two flavours (speed demons v speed kills)(they either do 90mph in a 50 zone or sit at 40mph in the fast lane of the dual carriage-way) and that Guinness has never been made with water from the River Liffey..... it just looks that way. And there are a LOT of tractors on the roads of Ireland - they even use their tractors to go to the pub in the evening. I never really liked any of the other women Duncan got paired with. Though it's fun when Amanda comes around...they've got good comic chemistry, though she can get slightly annoying sometimes. Get rid of them quickly. We won't even *touch* Bombadil - definately the =wrong= demographic! Give the ring to Strider - now there's a good role-model/hero for a 15 - 25 year old male. Maybe he could get the ring from a dying Frodo, who was set upon by the evil agents of Sauron. Rivendell - takes up much time. Lorien - takes up too much time. Too many females - or not enough. Make all the Elves foxy chicks - Elrond and Galadriel should be merged. Make "Eladriel" Arwen's mom. Arwen should be a =really= foxy chick. BTW, fewer clothes. Have her kidnapped by Sauron who wants to force her into marriage to legitimise his rulership of the world. Climax of the movie is the big fight between Aragorn and Sauron on the slopes of Mount Doom. Mano - a - mano. Strider uses the ring to throw Sauron into the volcano and rescue Princess Arwen (whose clothes seem to have been ripped off in the process). Cue happy ending. -- Jette "Work for Peace and remain Fiercely Loving" - Jim Byrnes jette@blueyonder.co.uk http://www.jette.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/ ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 30 Aug 2003 16:21:05 -0400 From: Sandy Fields <diamonique@comcast.net> Subject: Re: See ya.
