And I wait impatiently. The eps they've been showing the past couple months
(when silly me realized we get Oxygen although our cable guide doesn't
bother to list it), however, are rather a bore. I thought the show was
supposed to be about sex from the woman's viewpoint, but.... For whatever
reason, HL:TS (& even LFN, & _certainly_ Farscape) seem to do just that far
better. AND they usually tell a heck of a story in addition.

Totally. I enjoy Jennifer Garner & it's fun keeping up w/ the twists &
turns of the show, but LFN did it all earlier & better. Just not in
primetime on a big network.

Thanks, but I have them--it's just more fun somehow to watch them as aired.
I think season 1 is coming out on DVD in July.

Egads-did you not SEE Roy Dupuis as Michael? He puts the male cast of Alias

OHLR--Peta Wilson played the Inspector in S4's Promises, though she was
voiced over by a French actress.

about it being given to him by a clansman (who we can
probably infer is Connor)better.

Just out of curiosity, what are the problems with HL
3? I'm only asking becuase I don't remember all of it
clearly and don't want to waste the money renting it
again. Besides, I'm not very good at that sort of
thing sometimes....though other times I am. I knew
right off that HL2 was going to stink.

Subject: HL Tape Help
Is there anyone out there who could help me get a copy
of the behind the scenes tape, the 'Best of HL' tape
(I'm getting the book from Ebay)...and what else was
made besides the blooper reels, which I have? Oh, Life
and Times of Duncan MacLeod. Anything else? Anyway,
I'd just like to get as many of the tapes as I can.
I'm just glad TNN put it on so I don't have to spend
all that money ordering all the eps on tape.

The problems there can be divided into two neat little
categories. Continuity wise, it's not too serious
(or, it's not really worse than the T.V. series or
Endgame), just that the show has been ignored along
with HL 2.
The bigger headaches come out of technical faults like
writing that is either HIGHLY derivate of HL 1 or just
plain bad, a totally unlikeable supporting cast (even
Lambert is a bit of an acquired taste this time
around), and some of the worst animation effects I've
ever seen. To be honest, I actually like the second
one better than the third because of this -- say what
you like about HL 2, but I at least thought it had
good animation, and the writing was at least
entertaining (though I agree it's a REAL pain in the
ass to make sense of whether you think of it as a
sequel or not), whereas this was just bleak and
horrible.

While we're on the subject of consistency, are the
novels somewhat consistant with the series? I know
Shadow of Obseession is basically a ficced version of
Band of Brothers with a lot of changes, but what about
the others? Just curious.
Mel, who's beginning to recognize the pics on the
covers as coming from various eps.
PS Will I get whapped for going over five posts?
Should I still abide by that even though the list
isn't nearly as active now? Thanks.(actually, maybe
