Richard Sharpe. Definitely drool worthy. My dear sweet brother is letting me borrow his DVDs, now that I actually have a player. I always knew the brother would be good for something eventually. lynnann ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 16 Jan 2003 20:55:44 -0800 From: Jen Allen <jen@jendaveallen.com> Subject: Re: How amusing! The only two telemarketing calls that I've gotten on my cell in the two years that I've had it - when the telemarketer was informed that they had called a cell phone, they -apologized- and stated that the number would be removed from their lists. AND when Texas started their No-call list I registered both my land line and my cell (I didn't want to take any chances) but the fee I paid for the cell was refunded when they found it was a cell. I always thought they couldn't call cells because they would be costing you money to listen to their sales pitch, whereas with a land line all incoming calls are free. -Debbie -- .------------------------------------------------------------------. |Debra Douglass ddoug@catrio.org http://www.catrio.org| `------------------------------------------------------------------' ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 17 Jan 2003 02:03:47 -0700 From: Donna Gum <djgum@earthlink.net> Subject: Re: How amusing! > >I thought that telemarketers couldn't call cell phones. I for them for I think at the time 9.24 with no shipping. They have since raised the prices but that is still the best place to get dvd online I think. I just brought up Boromir because people were mentioning Legolas,Aragorn and Eomer but i agree Richard Sharpe is the BEST For people that dont know Richard take a look. Thanks anyway, I'll just continue being rude. <g> The opt-out thingy on the credit reporting agencies really worked, though; credit card solicitations slowed to a trickle. (Now, if I could just get them to stop sending solicitations to my 80-yr-old mom, I'll be happy) ZK (but then, I could be happy watching tall silken-haired blonde guys wearing poet's shirts that they've been rather careless about lacing in the front) ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 17 Jan 2003 10:06:27 EST From: Dotiran@aol.com Subject: Re: How amusing! Hi We also have a free no call service also just started and in my wonderful state. IF you tell them NOT to call you again and they call you. You can file a complaint with the Consumer office and you get a check for 500 or 1,000 forget how much... I love it also if you get the call and the caller says hold on........ That will also get you a check. it is forbidden for a sales person to say that to you here.
