OK... refresh my memory. Who was Maria? Was that the Maria that Richie was with when he fell for the she-devil immie who had him tingling in places he didn't know he had? -- Sandy ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 7 Dec 2002 03:18:10 -0500 From: KLZ3 <KZIMMERMAN3@cox.net> Subject: Re: Janine's new email/ Random stuff > > I must say, though, in all my travels away from HIGHLA-L, nothing beats > the dynamic that exists on this list. Kudos to Debbie! :::: rubbing bruises from being thunked by "tone police" on another list :::: I hear ya. HL was a pretty deep and complex show, but other shows have pretty good depth too. This list highlighted the best (well, we have gotten down there in the gutter a few times! <g>) and I've never seen a bunch of people who could get the gray matter moving like the people here. I was pretty taken with Stargate for a couple of years, but I got so mad at Showtime because I was paying for it with no new Stargate eps last year that I cancelled it and never have caught up. But I couldn't find a list that was both as satisfying and frustrating as this one. :::: joining hands with Janine and Sandy for a chorus of "It's a Small World After All" :::: TV has been sufficiently famine-like this year that I finally cancelled all but the lowest (in more ways than one!)) channels. There are some good shows on, but if I want "ripped from the headlines", I'll watch the news (and I thought Law & Order Miami Vice or whatever was really tacky for doing an ep so similar to local events while we were still picking up the pieces). Hey, I'll take well-done escapism any day. <g> > > 6. Passing thought while watching Smallville: NO! Maria is still a young > woman who's off pursuing a modeling career! Was that the Maria that Richie > was with when he fell for the she-devil immie who had him tingling in > places he didn't know he had? I *Knew* I'd seen her before! I missed that connection entirely. I just watched SG-1 season 1 ep "Singularity". Near the end, there was a scene in the cell where Killian (?) imprisoned DMOTCM in "The Colonel". The door was different, though. Meanwhile, The *other* Colonel (two L's - the geezerly one) and His Ascendancy and co. waited anxiously in the same corridor where Killian lost his head. :::: hopefully polishing Jack O'Niell Honorary Rocker :::: ZK (Hah. Whippersnappers. *I* saw the original "It's a Small World After All" exhibit at the NY world's fair in 1964, when the whole concept was brand new and shiny.) kzimmerman3@cox.net ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 7 Dec 2002 07:49:19 -0500 From: Peggie Gannon <pgannon@optonline.net> Subject: Re: YKYBRTMHLLW... /was: Re: Jim Byrnes in Taken Jette, I was hoping for a wedding announcement to accompany that e-mail!
