Mmmhmm. 8) The Amnesia Episode. Dirk is injured in an altercation with a bad alien who leaves several earthlings dead in his wake. Dirk wakes up with no memory of his own alienness and must figure out who he is and what's going on with the help of the obligatory beautiful Earth woman while both the bad alien and the police chase him. He recovers his memory in the nick of time when the bad alien, himself, the beautiful Earth woman, and the police find themselves in the same place at the same time, and, manages to bag the bad alien, part tragically from the beautiful Earth woman, and evade the police just before the tag. 9) The Celebrity in Jeopardy episode. One or more bad aliens have developed a yen for a particular earthling celebrity. Dirk must follow the celebrity in order to find the aliens, and, of course, the celebrity is a real piker. But, after saving said celebrity from the evil aliens several times, Dirk manages to enlighten said celebrity to the benefits of being nicer to everyone they meet (never can tell who might be carrying alien weaponry) while simultaneously bagging several bad aliens. 10) The alien shape shifter episode. One of the alien fugitives can assume any shape. Guess who he chooses to look like whilst doing something truly abominable, and, worse, illegal, and still worse, doing it front of several law-enforcement officers / intelligence agency operatives. 11) The Alien Technology episode. A secret government agency learns of the aliens' presence and wants their way-cool alien gizmos for the government, whichever goverment, or for a dangerous dictator out to rule the world. Dirk must foil them, and/or their alien allies/would-be allies, before significant numbers of earthlings become thoroughly dead. 12) The 'My Evil Alien Twin Framed Me For Murder' ep. Do I even need to write this one out? <eg> >Wendy( Maybe AP wil go blonde for the role) Adrian Paul in the hands of Taime Down's stylist..... >(That would be different.) ::snicker:: Different's _one_ word for it. ;) Els (antique evil-doer who seldom posts) Nothing is impossible - for the person who doesn't have to do it. I need some help from those of you who are living there, or have been there and have tips to offer. This is where I plan to go (not set in stone yet): Athens (Greece), Washington DC, Boston (yay, at last), LA, San Fransisco, Grand Canyon. If anyone can help me with the following information, please mail me off-list. Of course, if anyone has HL-related information, you can mail it to the whole list so everyone gets the benefit of your wisdom. My mother & I are very cash-strapped, our exchange rate is presently 7,9:1 and rising. I earn the equivalent of US$500 a month, so when i say inexpensive, I mean it!! Accomodation: We have a place to stay in DC, and SF, but if anyone has information - URL's, snail mailing addy's where i can get brochures from, or simply recommendations of decent, safe, cheap places to stay, I would appreciate it. And I'm confused. Can someone clear this up. The travel books all mention a rate for a room (eg $100/night) - does this mean the room, no matter how many people, or does this mean per person? I know most double rooms contain 2 double beds, so this would work for my mom & I. Seeing as it's summer, we will have to make reservations before we go. B&B's are a good choice as well. Transport: Again, URL's, snail mail addy's, or recommendations for public transport systems/ car hire. We cannot afford to go everywhere in taxis. Our ticket will include the air fares to these cities, so no info on airlines is needed, except possibly for the Grand Canyon. Do you go to Vegas on your main air ticket, and then get a bus/charter flight? Sight Seeing: Anything of note to visit, besides the usual? We are not into art, so no art museums please, but I do like history stuff. (for those who don't know, Extreme was a band, my fav, they did 'More Than Words') Extreme-wise, I need addresses and place names of all the Extreme places of note in Boston. I want to go to the Hole Hearted street, and the Hard Rock Cafe, and shop at that mall someone said Gary likes to shop in. (who knows, maybe dreams can come true....). Any more I should be visiting? If there are any decent clubs I should go to, I would also like to know. I will be 25, so no worries on the drinking thing. Speaking of clubs, where do I find info on the weekly performances - do music stores keep them, is there a paper I should buy? For example, if Bon Jovi are going to play a surprise gig in a Boston club, where, and when do they advertise?? Any locations I should look out for? Unfortunately, most of my fav shows are/were filmed in Vancouver, and that is too far to add i! ! n to the trip. (also means another visa) Performances: How can I find out about concerts/productions/conventions?? I don't want to go to LA, and find out that the week after I plan to go home, taht AP's doing an appearance!!!!! I missed out on the Gathering 5 convention, and the only Star Trek convention to have all captain's by a week, the last time I was there. I was devastated. Are there ticket bookings online, where I can go to see who will be touring at the time, and possibly book. Obviously, i will keep an eye on this list, so please don't stop giving dates for appearances etc.. I also may be interested in seeing the taping of a Tv show/movie on location or in a studio. Is there any way to get this info ahead of time? I know there is an office in LA where you can get a list of what's filming for the day. Is this available on-line? For other cities? Shopping: My mother and mine's favourite pasttime! *G* With things so unavailable here, I have to shop till I drop for all the stuff I haven't been able to get. I need to know where there are decent: Music stores - both new & 2nd-hand (b'cos they are cheaper); Book stores, both new & 2nd-hand, especially sci-fi, mythology; and where the hell do i find memoribilia/merchandise? eg Posters, t-shirts, mugs, keyrings, etc. for TV shows, SCI-FI and Music???????? Is any of the HL stuff available other than in the on-line store? Please, only supply info to whatever you know about. Speculations are not helpful. Anyone on this list want to meet up with me, if I'm coming to your city? Any help anyone can send me is muchly appreciated. I will post this again about twice before we go, in case anyone misses it the first time, so please ignore it when it comes again. Thanks greatly for taking the time to read, and, hopefully, helping me! Tarryn (This internet is a great thing, is it not! I have counted my sent mail and see that this is my fifth post so I shall hereafter be quiet today......I am usually more of a lurker anyhow. I do not agree with your idea of boycotting, Lance, but I should like to point something out that I am not sure anyone has touched on yet. They killed Sean Connery's Ramirez in Highlander One, but there he was again in Highlander Two. The plot device was a bit iffy, but there he was, after all!! Anything is possible in the movies, you know? Should there be a Highlander Five, I am sure there is some way they could bring Connor back if they have enough **reasonable** fan input--if that's what folks want. Just an idea and IMHO, 'course! Forever Peace, and trying to put a different spin on this whole thing, since I am both a Connor **and** a Duncan fan.
