This one, perhaps? http://kamil.slashcity.com/colby.html No, I didn't do that -- to either of those two images. Honest. <weg> I did sharpen them and adjust the gamma levels a bit in Photoshop--the captures are *incredibly* poor quality, so I could only improve them so much, and I removed the wench completely in the one; she was interfering with my view. This surprises you how? <g> Btw, the page will only be there a few days, so if you want the pics for yourself, save quickly. <g> Kamil, think of it as a ballet kata <eg> ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 14 Apr 2001 13:30:19 -0700 From: Pat Lawson <plawson@webleyweb.com> Subject: Re: OT: Hate Crime? Based on Lance's copious postings here and on other HL forums, it's not intended as a parody. Since you've been fortunate enough to miss those I can see why you'd think it is. It is absurd, due to ineptitude not intent. The problem is Lance has repeatedly argued his "movement" is real and that these events actually took place. Also, there is nothing anywhere on his pages in the way of a "this is for fun" disclaimer. >Or he is a rabid fan, in which case, the best >thing to do is ignore what he does - nobody will take it seriously. That's mostly what people have been doing. I wonder if that's why he's come up with this latest "tragedy". The one tape in my set that is not up to snuff in quality :::whimper::: :::sniffle::: I can't remember exactly which one, but it is very close to the middle of the season, and IIRC a tad to the early side of middle, and yes, it is when replacements for the sister are being auditioned. (Every time I watch ST:NG I think about how Nana Visitor got to dance with him in that lovely silver thing... and, well... other things she got to do, too.) Nina (I think) -- >(And did anyone else notice how little sis & bro >resembled each other? Admittedly, this poor actress is not exactly obvious >when standing next to AP, but the casting still seems odd.) Yes, very odd. The pool of actresses that could do a Russian accent, dance ballet a little, etc., might not have been too many at the time... or many other things, who knows. I keep thinking I've seen this actresss in other things and the only place I can come up with is the girl that got cut in "Unforgiven." I've not checked the names, so I'm not sure this is her. Anyone know for sure? BTW, I think there were several scenes where this actress was on block(s) to get her closer to Adrian's height. Anyone else think this? Dorothy again -- >>and was he only in one season? His story line ends in the tapes I >> have with agreeing to marry Bliss as they are talking by the pool :)] Nina again -- >Yes, he's just in the last season; the show was cancelled. I think the >proposal was in the cliffhanger. I remember one scene beyond the yummy :::slurp::: blue speedo'd yet silly dialogued proposal by (and in <eg>) the pool. There was some dinner event where Kolya, Bliss and others of the Colby kids and significant others were sitting finely attired at a table. Kolya let it slip that he and Bliss were engaged -- "Ooops, cat out of the box." And then a brief scene of him doing the Russian crouched dancing (well, more like in crab-walk position) and falling on his butt. Upon seeing that, the SO of one of the Colby sons (I never could keep all the other characters straight) said, "He's cute when he drinks." Much of this scene takes place while the beginning credits for the episode roll -- very annoying. :) -- Nora ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 14 Apr 2001 16:18:40 -0500 From: Nora Jones <najones@ilstu.edu> Subject: Re: Okay need Colby episode #'s or names Hi again, Sorry to have to bother you with a followup of my own post, but... wanted to apologize for my sloppy editing at the beginning -- I was in too much of a hurry. Also, I know very well that Nana Visitor was in ST:DS9, not ST:NG. Sorry I typed it wrong... again, I was in a hurry (I gotta stop that). I also checked the IMDB and found that Kolya's sister Anna Rostov was played by Anna Levine aka Anna Thompson aka a few other variations who also played Delilah Fitzgerald in "Unforgiven." Back to the regularly scheduled whatever it was. -- Nora ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 14 Apr 2001 17:02:54 -0500 From: Kamil <kamil@mmcable.com> Subject: Re: Okay need Colby episode #'s or names *snerk* Seems a few innocent-as-the-driven-snow types think that I turned the, erm, most interesting of those three pics into porn, by wickedly altering it with Photoshop. Not likely, I'm not *that* good. Yet. Most importantly, in this case, it *so* wasn't necessary. <weg> At any rate, all three originals are now side by side with the tidied-up versions, if you'd like to see for yourselves. http://kamil.slashcity.com/colby.html Kamil, the innocent -- this time "Well, everybody knows that the French are famous for eclairs, oral sex, and rudeness." In other alumni (and Reunion guest) news, Ocean Hellman was recently seen on The Outer Limits episode "The Surrogate" (apparently TOL really liked Ocean in the pregnancy suit in "Gettysburg" so they brought her back to wear it again) and Anthony De Longis appeared briefly in last night's episode "The Vessel." These are the new episodes now airing on Sci-Fi, and I'm sure they will rerun. Speaking of apologies, I am in no way upset with Kamil or Jen for their comments on how funny they thought the page was. Admittedly, I am very punchy when it comes to hate crimes. I nor anyone I know personally have never been the victim of such violence, but I find it appalling that it's the 21st century and the human race *still* can't seem to get along. ::shaking head:: ZK: re the District >the face to the people who are really bringing it around.
